—Founding Story—

A chaplain's debt.

I spent years walking into rooms where men had already decided. As a military chaplain, I sat with the ones who came back wearing the uniform but not the man. I prayed over caskets. I held wives. I watched fathers come home and disappear inside their own houses.

Then I spent nearly a decade running an international student placement organization, learning what it costs to move a person, really move them from one country to another. I learned the logistics of transformation. I learned what a covered transition looks like. And I never stopped thinking about the warrior who got off the bus alone.

Battleworn Legacy was the answer for the businessmen, the leaders carrying a different weight in a different theater. Battleworn Foundation is the answer for the men who carried the literal weight, and who will never spend their own money to get free.

I owe these men. We all do. The Foundation is how I pay it.
